Trace Miller is an emerging independent travel photographer with a focus on humanitarian, cultural and environmental issues. Her passion for photography transpired after her love for traveling was ignited.  She has traveled  to over forty countries in the last ten years, mostly by herself.  She has absorbed the utter diversity, beauty and humanity that this earth offers.  Trace wants to bridge the gap between cultures, nationalities, ethnicities, and well, humans across the globe.  She loves to observe different cultures and connect with people of such diversity yet such simplicity.

“My endless wanderlust will always be powered by my never-ending curiosity and fascination about this world and its people.  Traveling alone allows me to push myself out of my comfort zone, to abandon routine, to follow the humble path of uncertainty, while my photography captures those rare, raw moments along the way that I have had the honour to witness.   Sharing what I have captured is a life long dream to try to open the eyes and hearts of people alike, to bring more compassion to the surface.”

TRACES Photography is raw and real.  One woman.  One camera.  One world.

Trace is currently based out of Vancouer Island. For latest escapades, get the complete story on her travel blog

“We may run, walk, stumble, drive, or fly, but let us never lose sight of the reason for the journey, or miss a chance to see a rainbow on the way.”
